Karina Lantzy, LCSW, she/her, Clinical Supervisor, Clinician
Throughout life, from the beginning to the end, we depend on relationships and experiences to determine who we are. These relationships contribute to our well-being or can be the source of our pain and suffering. In sessions with my client(s), we attempt to explore, reveal, and understand what and where particular beliefs, perspectives, and behavior patterns originate and then commit to evolving, modifying, or replacing destructive, constricting thoughts. We work together to develop mindful awareness of thoughts and feelings that lead to more productive and constructive thoughts that then translate to improved behaviors. By working to resolve and balance issues within the mind, emotions, and body, we hope to reveal the wonder, beauty, and power of the individual. Working with clients over the past years has helped develop my treatment modalities with CBT, Mindful Awareness Practices, Schema Therapies, Attachment Therapy, I am certified in TIC (trauma informed care), systems theory, philosophical and spiritual approaches. I am
experienced with anxiety (GAD), depression, grief and bereavement, interpersonal and romantic relationships, life transitions, PTSD and CPTSD, ADHD, in addition to managing somatic symptoms.
